Meaning of पुढ॑ in the context of Space and Time

पुढ॑ is a tricky word and its meaning has to be understood in the context of space and time.
Let us examine these :-

The Tamil words मुन्नाले, मुन्नाडि, पिन्नाले पिन्नाडि
In SM
In SM पुढं means "in front of or ahead of any thing". Here the context can be both space and time. ie, future time or the space in front/ahead.
In SM पुढं never denotes "earlier" in time or "behind" in space
For example,
तू सांगाच सगळीन मी ऐकलों. आता पुढं सांग. Here the context is the future time, ie, what remains to be said in future.
तू पुढं चालून जा. मी मागं येतों. Here the context is the space ahead (while walking)
In DM
When the context is "time", then पुढ॑ in DM refers to the past, never to the future. For example, तु मला हे विषय पुढ॑ सांगट्ळासलतर मी तुला पाह्याला आलसना, meaning, "If you had told this to me earlier, then I wouldn't have come to meet you". Here the context is the past or earlier time, ie, what could or should have been said in the past.
When the context is "space", then पुढ॑ in DM (as in SM) refers only to that which is ahead or in front of a thing. For example, बैलबंडीच पुढ॑ मी चालून जात होतों, meaning " I was walking in front of the bullock-cart"
In Tamil
In spoken Tamil मुन्नाले could mean either "in front or ahead" in space or
"earlier" in time. DM seems to have adopted the Tamil pattern as regards पुढ॑.

पुढ॑ adv ahead of something (in time). afterwards. (कसाचतरीन) नंतरल॑ समयांते. uis (1) सध्याला मी सांगाच पूरा ऐकींघे (ऐकून घे). पुढ॑ काय होतकी ते नंतर पाव्हुया. (2) पुढ॑ हे होईलकी नाहीकी, कोणाला कळल॑ ?
पुढ॑ adv in advance (of something). (कायतरीन होयाच) पुढ॑. uis ते काम ओपिंगाच पुढ॑च तो कंट्राक्टर मझकडून दहा हदार रुपे विचारला.
